Our programs in this area include Aspire for students of Class VIII to X, the Edge workshops for students in Engineering, Management and other degree programs and Teacher Development Intervention for the teaching force.



This training program for young people focuses on strengthening the core life-skills in an individual. Designed for Class VIII to XII, the program will benefit students poised to make the leap into a new phase in life. Self-awareness, decision-making, study skills, memory techniques, value clarification, habit formation,managining peer pressure, relationship building and critical thinking, are just a few of the skills that students are taken through.

An irresistible mix of movies, games, role plays and simulations, this interactive training session uses the combined approach to train students in Engineering, Management, and other degree courses on various life skills. Spread across all years of college, The Edge covers personal skills in the first year, communication and career related skills in the second year and an integral mix of both in the final years.

During the course of this program, a track record and file of every student will be maintained and personal counseling will be offered on a need basis. Real life projects bridge the gap between the classroom and life.

The program also seeks to identify special talent and specific needs of students. The Edge also features student exchange programs and feedback that is sent to faculty and the management.

TEACHER DEVELOPMENT INTERVENTION

This intervention is designed to enhance behavioral competencies in teachers with a holistic perspective in the following dimensions.

Self awareness personal effectiveness
Spiritual Quotient managing the ego and its manifestation
Interpersonal excellence in handling peers, students and family
Emotional Intelligence the ability to connect with people

The program is designed across 8 days and can be extended, depending on the report of training needs assessment. Beginning with a set of assessments, the intervention will be followed by a Personal Development Plan. Three weeks after the completion of this assessment, individual reports and collective reports will be submitted to the participants and the head of the institution.

The most action-packed part of the intervention will then be conducted –through a 2-day offsite training that will offer deeper insights into the assessments that were completed.
